Bright Eyes


We just got a 50mm lens for the camera.  I've been excited to see how the pictures compare with those that I've taken with the kit lens.  No comparison!  Of course, I'm still not very good with this, but I've been trying to read up on photography and practice some as well.  Turns out I have the perfect model!  Here are some pictures I took yesterday with the 50mm.






I still have to work on my focus because with my camera body, the 50mm lens doesn't have the auto-focus option so I have to manually focus.  It's so much fun though to be able to capture these sweet expressions!  Joanna turns 4 months tomorrow so I'll be taking her monthly pictures this weekend!  

We're taking a trip to Villa Rica today to celebrate Daddy's birthday!  Happy Birthday Pappy!

    She is so pretty! When I saw the title of your post, I immediately started singing, "Turn around, bright eyes, every now and then I fall apart...and I need you now tonight...and I need you more than ever...." I'll stop now :)

    Love these shots! You are so right, that lens makes a huge difference! Give baby girl a kiss from me and tell her Aunt B can't wait to see her tomorrow!
